He is then presented with the coronation spurs, with the words: “Receive these spurs, symbols of military honour and chivalry, that you may be a brave advocate for those in need.” The king is being dressed in what is termed the “colobium sindonis, supertunica, and girdle”, and sits in the coronation chair. ![]()
